• Foundational Technique: Begin with the fundamentals of classical guitar playing, including proper posture, finger placement, hand positioning, and essential right and left-hand techniques, such as fingerpicking and fingernail care.
• Sight Reading and Music Theory: Learn to read standard notation and sheet music for classical guitar, along with an introduction to music theory, including scales, intervals, chords, and harmony—key to understanding and performing classical works.
• Classical Repertoire: Explore a wide range of classical guitar pieces from different periods, such as Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary. Study famous composers like Bach, Tarrega, Giuliani, and Sor, and develop the skills to perform both solo and ensemble pieces.
• Fingerstyle and Articulation: Master the art of fingerstyle technique, focusing on tone production, phrasing, dynamics, and articulation. Learn how to produce a clear and resonant sound with each note, essential for classical music performance.
